Integrally coloured concrete, batched to a repeatable shade.
Pigmented ready-mix concrete for exposed floors, plazas, driveways and feature walls. Colour is batched into the mix — not painted on — so it never peels or wears off.
Inside Alpha Chroma
Alpha Chroma is integrally coloured ready-mix concrete. Synthetic iron-oxide pigments compliant with ASTM C979 are dosed at the batching plant as a percentage of cementitious content, producing concrete that carries its colour through the full depth of the section.
Because the pigment is in the matrix rather than on the surface, abrasion, chipping and power-washing do not expose a grey substrate. Surface finish — trowelled, broomed, ground or polished — changes the tone, so the finishing method is fixed at sample stage and repeated on site.
Colour consistency is a batching discipline problem, not a pigment problem. Alpha Chroma locks cement source, sand source, pigment dosage, water-cement ratio and slump for the whole project. Any change to those variables changes the shade, so they are frozen in the mix design and enforced through the batch ticket.

Built for exposed, coloured surfaces
Pigment is batched into the mix, so colour runs through the section. No peeling coating, no grey patch when the surface wears.
Cement source, sand source, pigment dose and W/C ratio frozen after sample approval so later loads match the first pour.
A cast sample in your chosen finish is approved before supply starts, and the reference code is retained for top-ups.
Alkali-stable, lightfast synthetic iron-oxide pigments that do not fade under UV or react with cement chemistry.
Low W/C ratio, SCM content and curing protocol specified to reduce salt bloom that visually lightens coloured surfaces.
Available M25-M45, so the same mix can be both the visible finish and the structural element.
Built for these projects
Villa driveways, clubhouse forecourts, landscaped plazas, pedestrian precincts.
Exposed boundary walls, entrance features, lobby walls where a coloured monolithic surface is specified.
Showrooms, cafes, hotel public areas — coloured ground or polished floors.
Cycle tracks, footpaths, park furniture bases, coloured lane demarcation in campus roads.
